Ikan Terubuk Tiga Rasa! I made this for lunch that day using the frozen pre-cooked fish by @presscookofficial. You just need to thaw the fish and the heat it up for consumption...
The attempt to heat the fish up in a wok. The fish was so soft that the head and tail broke off from the body. Not a problem because I am not eating the head anyway. Heheh! |
After heating it up, the fish is ready to be eaten actually... |
But I made a spicy sweet and sour sauce to go with it because I'm fancy like that. |
The texture is like canned sardine, soft and crumbly in your mouth. |
You can even chew the bones because they are softened by the unique cooking process. Mind you, terubuk has a lot of bones. So, now everyone can enjoy the fish without fear of choking on the bones. |
The verdict: If you do not have access to fresh fish, you might want to consider this option. it is quite easy to prepare. Just take it out from the plastic and heat it up using a pan or even steam.
The downside of this product is you still need refrigeration for the fish. Not really convenient if it is compared to canned fish which you can store at room temperature for years.
Cost per piece is RM20 for Ikan Terubuk and RM15 for Ikan Susu. Weight 300-450g. For more info, please contact 0192720242
